Youth and Adult Literacy and Basic Education (YALBE) in Nuristan Province
In this project, TACT is implementing Youth and Adult Literacy and Basic Education (YALBE) Level 1 Phase 2 in Nuristan province, targeting hard-to-reach and underserved areas across four districts (Bargematal, Waygal, Mandol and kamdish). The TACT team comprises one Provincial Mobilizer, four District Mobilizers, two Psycho-social Counselors, and 35 Literacy Facilitators. The YALBE program focuses on providing literacy courses for adults, covering essential subjects such as the Quran Karim, Dari, Pashto, and Mathematics. For YALBE Level 1 Phase 2, TACT aims to support 1,050 learners across morning and afternoon shifts.
